A short film capturing the brilliant must-see Brighton Festival event ‘For the Birds’. After driving to a pick-up point you are taken in a coach to a secret woodland location where the trees are filled with sculptures and audio installations inspired by the movement and sounds of birds.
Making the most of a bank holiday weekend day here in England I headed to Arlington Reservoir. It has a beautiful walk around the reservoir which takes you through the country side which takes around an hour.
After a week of editing and developing projects I needed a a couple of days outside exploring and getting lost. After an hour or two we found this is a beautiful forest in Sussex located in a valley.
Below are the results of developing two medium format rolls of film which capture my latest explorations around Friston Forest and Newhaven. I would definitely recommend a day out at Friston forest if your based in Sussex.
Since moving to Seaford I have been trying to explore the local area as much as possible before moving up to London. First on my tick list was Friston Forest, to get there it’s a beautiful 1 hour walk over the south downs.
The forest was quiet and offered plenty of shade to have a picnic and create some high contrast photographs.
